LACES TEAM WINS eCYBERMISSION CRITERIA AWARD
Four 8th graders from Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies entered the Ecybermission contest sponsored by the US Army.This year, over 13,000 students registered for eCYBERMISSION and formed over 3,300 teams. 186th Street Featured in Book
Peace lives at 186th Street School. This year the school will be featured in a new book - The Colors of Love and Peace. The book shows off student artwork with words of encouragement and advice from the artists for children in the hospital. Mrs. Reed, principal hopes that people will buy the book and then donate it to a local children’s hospital. Read more about PEACE at 186th Street.

The Bots are FLU SMART
The Bots are “Flu Smart.” Delta and Rau always remember to wash their hands with soap and water. They cover their mouths when they sneeze or cough with a tissue and then put the tissue in the trash.
